Basketball
Street basketball games are organized by Yökoris. Just show up and join in, no sign-up needed, and no team required. You're also welcome to come with your own ready-made 3-on-3 team. Bring your own shoes, basketballs are provided on site. See you on the court!
Safer space guidelines
- Respect everyone’s personal space. Ask before touching and adjust your behaviour if someone indicates that your behaviour makes them feel uncomfortable.
- Respect everyone and do not make assumptions about other’s sexuality, gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion, values, backgrounds, abilities or health. Respect pronouns and names. Be aware of your own privileges.
- Do not discriminate based on body. Do not comment on other people’s bodies, eating habits or portion sizes.
- Respect others’ opinions, beliefs and viewpoints. Do not mock or humiliate anyone.
- Take responsibility for your own actions, as they affect others. No heavy drinking.
- Intervene if you see harassment and offer help to the person being harassed. Do not remain just an onlooker.
- If a situation feels distressing or if you see harassment, abuse, or discrimination, approach a Kori Jazz member. They can be identified by the Kori Jazz T-Shirts. You can also send us a private message on Instagram.
